As I grew older, I noticed a common theme of constantly striving toward something more. This series follows a girl throughout her life in suburbia. Many people believe that a big house with a beautiful and neatly cut lawn with a white picket fence is the ideal "American Dream"... but it is not all that it is hyped up to be. It is an empty dream that will never bring a full sense of satisfaction. When one is constantly striving for more, all they will feel is a sense of emptiness.
